This was my first photo messing around with the new Picasa for Mac from Google.

I've long been a fan of the Windows version of Picasa, and was THRILLED to find out today that the Mac version is in beta.

If you have an older Mac, Picasa is definitely worth a look. It's much simpler to use than iPhoto, more intuitive, and I find the filters just WORK with a higher degree of success than iPhoto. Even if you have a screaming fast Mac, I guarantee you will be processing files faster (even large RAWs) with Picasa than iPhoto. Try it. You can't lose. It's free!

Not Bad For An Inexpensive Point 'N Shoot

Playing with the macro mode, but the macro is VERY weird on this camera. The zoom needs to be almost maxed for it to focus.
